Our partner secondary school in the North Manchester area wish to appoint a Graduate to work across Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four supporting identified pupils to progress in their education. This position will start in September 2021 and dependent on the requirements of pupils, will continue for the full academic year.
- Full time position, September 2021 start
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis in class
- Working alongside the SENCO to raise attainment
- Covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher, with pre-set work
- GBP65 - GBP75 per day depending upon previous experience
- Invaluable experience prior to completing a PGCE course
**Previous experience working with young people is essential for this position**
As a Graduate teaching assistant – you will be expected to work alongside the classroom teachers to ensure all pupils are able to fully access the lessons. You will have the opportunity to cover lessons across the curriculum with pre-set work, ensuring that you can develop the skills necessary to progress in a future teaching career.
Located in North Manchester, the school can be accessed via the M60 motorway. There is a train station nearby, making it feasible to access for non drivers.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
