Successful graduate teaching assistants will join a vibrant secondary academy in Manchester and will be given the opportunity to experience a number of different roles. Candidates will offer in class support, help raise attainment through 1:1 and small group intervention, assist with lesson planning and preparation and cover lessons when appropriate. This role will give any graduates considering a career in teaching the knowledge and skills required to progress on to formal teacher training.

Candidates must have experience in supporting young people in an educational or relevant setting or have a genuine desire to pursue a career in teaching.
