Graduate Teaching Assistant

Location: Hulme, Manchester
Salary: £450 - £500 per week
Contract: Full-time, Term-time

Are you a recent graduate eager to make a real difference in education? Teaching Personnel is offering fantastic opportunities for Graduate Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of schools in South and Central Manchester. This is your chance to gain hands-on classroom experience, support students with diverse learning needs, and develop the skills that will set you up for a successful career in teaching or educational psychology. You’ll be part of a dynamic network of schools, each with its own unique environment, giving you the chance to broaden your experience and make a positive impact on young learners.

About the Role

  • Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them achieve their full potential.
  • Work closely with teachers and SEN teams to provide tailored support in the classroom.
  • Deliver one-to-one or small group interventions.

What We’re Looking For

  • A degree in Psychology, Sociology or Education would be advantageous, but not essential.
  • A passion for education and supporting young people.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
