The Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting teachers in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons
- Working with small groups and individual pupils to provide targeted academic and pastoral support
- Assisting in creating a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Developing core teaching skills such as behaviour management and differentiation
- Participating in professional development and preparing for progression into teacher training
This role provides an excellent foundation for those aiming to progress onto a salaried teacher training programme.
About You
We are looking for graduates who:
- Hold a degree in any subject
- Are enthusiastic about working with young people
- Are committed to pursuing a long-term career in teaching
- Have strong communication and organisational skills
- Are reflective, resilient, and eager to learn
Previous experience working with children or young people is beneficial but not essential, as full training and support will be provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
