Role: Graduate Teaching Assistant
Location: Burnley, Lancashire
Start Date: April 2025
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Support individual pupils and small groups, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their potential.
• Prepare classroom resources and materials.
• Monitor and track students’ progress, providing feedback to the teacher.
• Support the social, emotional, and academic development of students.

What We Are Looking For:

• A recent graduate with a passion for working with children.
• Any graduate degree will be considered, provided your skills are suitable for the role.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• A positive attitude, patience, and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
• Experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
