Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Primary School)

Location: Burnley, Lancashire
Start date: As soon as possible
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm term time only
Pay: £15.00 – £16.50 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming primary school in Burnley.

This is an exciting opportunity to support children in reaching their full potential both academically and personally.

The Role

• Supporting teaching and learning within the classroom.
• Delivering targeted interventions to individuals and small groups.
• Supporting and challenging higher-attaining pupils to extend their learning.
• Working closely with class teachers to promote pupil progress and engagement.
• Contributing to a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential).
• Experience teaching and delivering phonics interventions (essential).
• Strong understanding of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
• A proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to supporting learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
