Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
Teaching Personnel are looking for graduates who feel they can offer specialist and dedicated assistance to schools by covering lessons left vacant by usual class teachers.
The ideal candidate would be a graduate with a specific subject they feel they could assist pupils with such as Science English Maths Engineering or IT. You would need to be a strong character with the ability to control a class of up to 30 11-16 year olds and patience to explain and advise pupils. You will need to be punctual, reliable and efficient in your work with an interest in learning and growing as a person.
Previous experience is not required but will be extremely helpful.
The role would be across the area in multiple schools and would therefore be better suited to those with their own transport. You will work in a variety of classes and situations based on your own skills and knowledge, which will in turn improve and increase with experience and practise.
We will also look at schools to place you into to begin a SKITT programme once we feel enough experience has be gained and will actively push for you to continue to develop and grow your own skills and gain new qualifications.
If interested please apply for a call back
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
