Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to work in a secondary school in Leigh.  If you are a compassionate and enthusiastic person wanting to make a difference in education this role would be perfect to kickstart your career.  

The role:

• Working 1-2-1 and in small groups to support students with work (KS3 and KS4)
• Supporting the teacher with classroom management
• Working with students who may have SEN, behavioral issues and mental health difficulties.
• Full time
• Develop your skillset and experience with additional training provided

Weekly pay rate is £385-425

As a graduate TA you must have a degree. You should be patient and have a positive working attitude to set an example to students. This would suit a graduate looking to gain experience in a secondary school setting, as well as graduates looking to teach. This experience can also be used to support future PGCE applications.
