Graduate Maths Teacher – Derbyshire
Daily Rate: £162
Start Date: September 2025 / Immediate Start Available

Are you a recent Mathematics graduate with a passion for education and a desire to gain hands-on experience in the classroom? Teaching Personnel is working with supportive secondary schools across Derbyshire seeking enthusiastic and driven graduates to take on roles as Graduate Maths Teachers or unqualified instructors, with full support provided.

This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers looking to start their journey into education, especially for those considering a PGCE or teacher training in the near future.


Role Overview:
➗ Deliver pre-prepared Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
➗ Receive full classroom support and access to in-school mentoring
➗ Ideal for graduates seeking experience before teacher training
Daily pay: £162, paid weekly through Teaching Personnel
➗ Opportunities for long-term placements and permanent roles
➗ Access to funded CPD including Behaviour Management and Safeguarding


Who We’re Looking For:
✅ A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject
✅ A strong interest in education and working with young people
✅ Excellent communication and classroom presence
✅ A proactive, confident and engaging personality
✅ Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
