Teaching Personnel is working with a number of supportive and inclusive schools across East Manchester that are seeking enthusiastic Graduate Learning Support Assistants to join their teams. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates wanting to gain practical experience supporting children and young people while exploring a future in education, psychology, therapy, social care, or youth intervention.

Your Responsibilities May Include:

Providing one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with additional needs, including Autism, ADHD and social, emotional, and mental health needs

Helping to create engaging and inclusive learning environments

Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, confidence, and independence

Adapting activities to meet individual learning requirements

Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and wider support staff

Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting pupil wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
