Graduate English Tutor

Teaching Personnel are working with one of their client schools in Stockport, in looking to appoint a Graduate English Tutor. You must have a degree in English or a related subject, whilst prior experience in working with children is essential. Previous experience in tutoring is highly desirable, though not essential. Work will be completed across both Literature and Language.

As a graduate tutor you will work both online and face to face with students with SEN, as well as those who have fallen behind within the subject. Given the impact that Covid-19 has had on many children, the tutor will be expected to form strong rapport with students. It is essential that the tutor has knowledge of the national curriculum as well as the expectations of the major exam boards (AQA, OCR, Edexcel) Additionally, being able to provide learning material and resources that motivate students is of high importance.

If you are competent in the teaching of students up to KS5, Teaching Personnel is keen to speak to you! Pay for this role will range between GBP18 and GBP25 hourly.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
