Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools in North Manchester, Oldham & Rochdale

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisor to join our team and support secondary schools across North Manchester, Oldham, and Rochdale. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and eager to gain hands-on experience in a school setting.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining the continuity of learning when teachers are absent. You’ll deliver pre-prepared lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and support students throughout the school day.
⭐ Key Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-set lessons across a range of subjects in the absence of the regular teacher.

Ensure students remain engaged and on task during lessons.

Maintain a calm, safe, and productive classroom environment.

Respond to student questions and support their understanding of the work.
Requirements:

A degree in any subject is required.

Experience working with young people, particularly in an educational setting, is preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Confidence in managing a classroom and maintaining discipline.

A flexible, dependable, and proactive approach to work.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
