Graduate Cover Supervisor- Tonbridge

Teaching Personnel are working with a number of secondary schools in the Tonbridge/Sevenoaks area who are looking for regular Graduate Cover Supervisors to work in their schools on a daily basis. This time of year shows an influx in day to day cover which is required and a number of our schools in Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks and,Tonbridge area ask for Graduate Cover Supervisors to cover.

The role of a Gradate Cover Supervisor involves:

  • Deliver work which is already set to students in full class settings
  • Cover in the absence of the full class teacher: no planning or marking responsibilities
  • Engage with a class of students, ensuring they remain on task and complete the set work
  • Gain highly valuable paid work experience in a secondary school environment
  • Ideal to support any future PGCE application
  • Paid role ranging between £55 - £75 per day depending upon experience
  • Fully flexible roles which can be ideal for those in education or studying part time with limited availability during the school week

The role of a Graduate Cover Supervisor as outlined above is beneficial for a confident and adaptable graduate who is looking for work in a secondary school and is perhaps a prospective future teacher. The schools we work with in the areas advised above are supportive of graduates and regularly ask for the same graduates back for continuity purposes.

Highlights of the Graduate Cover Supervisor position:

  • Fulfil the role of a cover supervisor, managing full classes and covering lessons already pre-planned
  • Gain invaluable experience supporting a future PGCE application
  • Highly supportive secondary school located in the Tonbridge/ Tunbridge Wells/ Sevenoaks area

This role would suit a graduate of any degree specialism but one that has experience in supporting in an educational setting. If you have any experience in supporting students aged 11 - 18 in a youth worker setting or in a secondary school then apply now for immediate consideration.
