Graduate Cover Supervisor

The highlights of working as a cover supervisor is covering lessons across a number of topics including your own subject specialism and working under the guidance of teaching and associate staff in lessons and around the school. The aim of a a cover supervisor is to provide support to students during lessons when cover is required and to successfully manage behaviour in line with the schools behaviour policy.

The successful cover supervisor will have/be able;

• Aspirations of a career in education such as teaching or specialised support
• Comfortable with English and Mathematics (GCSE grade minimum)
• Previous experience working with young people in an education or sports coach setting
• Work on their own initiative and engage students during lessons
