Are you a dedicated and confident Graduate looking for school-based experience to support a future career as a Teacher, SENCO, School Counsellor or Educational Psychologist?


As a Graduate Behaviour Mentor, you will need to be able to connect with a challenging student and strike the perfect balance with them to ensure they can progress on an academic and pastoral level.

  • Brilliant Mainstream Primary School in Hammersmith, seeking a Graduate Behaviour Mentor.
  • Initial One-Year Contract Starting September 2018 Paid.
  • Supporting Disadvantaged Students with Behavioural Difficulties.
  • Receive Superb Support from Outstanding Teachers and Senior Leaders.
  • A degree is required along with GCSEs of grade C or above in Maths, English or Science.


As a Graduate Behaviour Mentor, you need to believe in providing opportunities for students to become independent and well-rounded individuals ready to embrace all that life has to offer. You will develop and implement strategies that can remove the barriers to learning that have so far hindered pupil progress; you will need to be a patient and resilient individual Behaviour Mentor as the role can be extremely challenging.


A Graduate Behaviour Mentor works on a full-time basis supporting a student's behaviour and learning inside and outside of the classroom. This is primarily a class based position however it is very likely you will be required to deliver 1:1 withdrawal sessions at some stage in order to maintain the progress of the student's behaviour and learning.


Working as a Graduate Behaviour Mentor will allow you to build up invaluable experience which can help to support you in your future career choice. You will have the opportunity to be a positive role model to those in need as well as having access to the outstanding CPD programme that our partnership school can offer.
