Geography Teacher - Oldham - Easter 2019

Teaching Personnel are working as recruitment partners for a large modern secondary school in Oldham who require a Geography Teacher or Newly Qualified Geography Teacher to join the Humanities department for the remainder of the academic year. This is a full time position involving teaching Geography up to GCSE level with the opportunity of a permanent contract at the end of the academic year. This position would involve full departmental responsibilities of planning and marking as well as having your own form group.

We would welcome applications from both experience Geography Teachers as well as Newly Qualified Geography Teachers, as long as you are confident in your ability and can commit to a position until at least the end of the academic year. You must be able to deliver inspiring lesson plans and have strong behaviour management skills as well as being able to teach Geography up to GCSE level.

  • Full time position as a Geography Teacher working within a large modern secondary school in Oldham
  • Teaching Geography up to both KS3 and GCSE level
  • Paid in line with teaching scale point (£23,720 - £39,406)

Our client school is a large modern secondary school in Oldham with state of the art facilities throughout. The school has had a recent multimillion pound refurbishment, resulting in excellent teaching and learning facilities throughout.
