Our client secondary school based in the Sale/Altrincham area is looking to recruit a Geography teacher starting after the February half term in 2019. The successful Geography teacher will be teaching Geography Year 7 to 10 for the remainder of the spring half term and summer term.

This is a full time Geography teaching position for 1 and half terms in the first instance at a 'Good' rated school in its latest Ofsted inspection. The school is a very good and supportive school to teach at with all students being highly engaged in their learning and very enthusiastic in their approach to school life. The school require this Geography teaching position to be filled as a result of their current teacher of Geography relocating during the February half term. As a result of the prior notice that the school have, the will be looking to meet with prospective Geographers in December/January, keen to appoint as soon as possible.

Highlights of this Geography teaching position:

  • Pay ranging between £110 - £160 per day depending on experience and payscale
  • Applications encouraged from teachers of all experience including NQTs and more experienced teachers

The school is located in the Sale/Altrincham area, very easily accessible from the city centre being on the tram line. For those driving, the school is easily accessible via the local M60 and M56 motorway networks. The school is also easy to get to from the Warrington and Leigh area for those travelling from the West.

The school has a very family orientated feel to it, with staff being approachable and students reciprocating and respecting the values of pride, honesty and a very positive atmosphere. They are therefore looking for a successful teacher of Geography who can echo these values and teach Geography at an academic level. Teachers have the chance to teach their subject here to academic and engaged students.

  • Geography teacher required starting Monday 25th February 2019
