Geography Teacher

Teaching Personnel are currently working with high achieving Secondary school in Marlborough who are seeking a Geography teacher for March 2020. 

The successful candidate will be an exceptional teacher with a commitment to professional development. You will be responsible for ensuring every student achieves academic excellence.

We are looking for an effective classroom teacher who can teach Geography across the ability range at Key Stages 3 and 4, and ideally at Key Stage 5. The school prides themselves on being an approachable, dedicated and well-resourced Geography department, who deliver engaging lessons in which our students can thrive. We are committed to all students making progress and the sharing of ideas, good practice and innovative resources.

We are looking for a candidate with resilience, determination and the ability to be consistently reflective and to adapt their practice.

The successful candidate will have:

• A passion for teaching Geography.
• Experience of teaching KS3 and KS4 Geography.
• The ability to raise achievement in key stage three and four.
• The ability to demonstrate that they have the creativity in the facilitation of engaging and challenging lessons.
