A secondary school based in the Runcorn area require a permanent teacher of Geography to join them for the new academic year in September 2021. They are seeking to recruit an ambitious practitioner who has exceptional subject knowledge, is innovative, drives excellence and is avialable full-time and on a long-term basis. 

The department consists of large team of KS3 and KS4 specialists who work hard to achieve a good atmosphere where staff work in collaboration with one another, support one another’s CPD and share work load. As a member of the Humanities team, you will be required to participate in the all inclusive enrichment programme they offer every student, a programme of which they are proud of.

To be considered for the role you should:

• Have UK QTS with a good first degree in a Humanities related subject
• Have expert knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum
• Have a good sense of humour, be able to build excellent relationships with staff and students alike
• Be an excellent communicator and be adaptable to provide an all inclusive programme
• Have excellent classroom management skills demonstrating good pace, progress and reflective learning
