General Teaching Assistant - York

I am looking for a General Teaching Assistant to start this term, at an alternative provision based in Fulford, York.

The Job Role:

• Supporting with the delivery of all lessons and subjects, helping to engage students
• Encouraging and developing the student's confidence and independence
• Liaising with teachers and support staff to develop education plans
• Managing behaviour in-line with the Schools ethos and policies
• 0830-1530/1600 working days

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• Psychology or Sports based Degree
• Experience of supporting additional needs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The right attitude towards teaching and learning within SEN
