Teaching Personnel are currently looking for general supply teachers who are available to provide day to day supply from September. This is to provide general cover within the Warrington area, teaching and covering in secondary schools. Working with 7 schools in the local areas of Birchwood, Walton, Padgate and Great Sankey, any general supply teachers that can get to these areas would be ideal. These schools are accessible via the local bus links as well as the M62, M56 and M6 motorway network for those that drive.
Highlights of the general supply teacher role:
- Total flexibility to teach when you are available: utilising our bespoke system and online diary
- Pay £95 - £120 per day depending on school, expectations and subject specialism/pay scale
- Teach at a variety of secondary schools in the Warrington and Trafford area
- No planning or marking responsibilities; just general day to day supply
- Access to CPD opportunities with local partnership - National Teaching School
- Opportunities to progress onto school based contracts if applicable and suitable
There are multiple opportunities to provide general cover as a qualified teacher, teaching across many different subjects. There is also the option to teach your specific subject specialism as school often ask for subject specialists to cover internal staff who are absent. We regularly receive numerous calls proactively in advance aswell as on the day bookings from local secondary schools that require supply teachers.
Schools often ask for continuity and consistency in asking for the same teachers who receive positive feedback from schools so you will benefit from your own strong performance and positive conduct when attending schools. This role will be highly suitable for teachers looking for flexibility and part time/temporary work teaching in various secondary schools in the local area.
- Opportunities to teach in a variety of secondary schools such as outstanding schools or more challenging with regards behaviour
- Great positive networking opportunities working in a number of secondary schools
For those teachers who are looking for some variety before progressing onto their next full time, long term teaching opportunity, this role is ideal as it gives you the chance to try out different schools and could also form an introduction to your next teaching position.
If you are a qualified teacher looking for temporary, flexible and day to day supply teaching, then apply now with your latest CV for immediate consideration.
