Teacher of Science (Chemistry/Physics) - KS4/KS5 - 'Good' School in Stratford, East London

  • £150 per day minimum
  • Full time role with full PPA entitlement
  • School situated near Stratford (London Borough of Newham), close to Stratford Underground Station

A distinguished secondary school in the London Borough of Newham is seeking to appoint a dynamic and passionate teacher of Science (NQT or FQT) to join an innovative, successful and forward thinking department in this high achieving school.

Recently graded as ‘Good’ by Ofsted, the school achieved 73% A*-C in the most recent GCSE results and the Science department performed particularly well. The school, which has been awarded Centre of Excellence status by the Borough, also sits in the top 20% of schools nationally for best Value Added in terms of student progress.

The school are looking for a Science teacher who has been consistently been graded as ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ who can teach using the AQA syllabus up to A Level. The school wants a teacher who is dedicated to raising standards and can contribute towards their continued success in terms of value added student progress. A proven track record of raising attainment and exam success is imperative.
