- Experience of delivering Phonics sessions would be desirable
A school in the heart of Burnley, not far from the main train station and the M65, have approached Teaching Personnel in order to source a Teaching Assistant to work in the KS1 department. The school is larger than average and does have a ‘challenging’ catchment area.
The role will start in mid to late June and will continue, full time, for the rest of the academic year & is scheduled until at lest March 2018. The Deputy Head teacher, who deals with the recruitment in school, has noted that they will be looking for a Level 2 teaching assistant who can work effectively using their own initiative and improve standards under the leadership of the class teacher.
This will be a rewarding opportunity especially as the school are looking to gain ‘Outstanding’ status following a previous inspection last year which graded the school Good with Outstanding.
If you are interested in the role specified above and you are available to trial out in the school then please do not hesitate to contact me with an up to date CV and dates over the coming weeks in which you could trial out in school. My email is howard.taylor@teachingpersonnel.com and my number is 01772 842155.
