General Cover Teacher

Are you a qualified teacher looking for casual supply teaching within secondary schools in the South Manchester area?

Many of the secondary schools we work in the Stockport, Levenshulme, Chorlton and Trafford areas require general cover teachers to teach on a casual basis within their schools after the Easter break. During the final summer term of the academic year, many schools have school trips and run CPD courses for their in-house teachers; therefore requiring general cover teachers to cover on a variety of days.

The successful general cover teacher may have a specialism which will often be advantageous and be matched with, so if you are a Humanities teacher or Art teacher able to cover on a general basis, apply now.

• Pay between £100 - £120 for a day's cover depending on the school and role

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
