KS1 Class Teacher Job – Chorley
A highly supportive mainstream primary school in Chorley is seeking a talented and enthusiastic KS1 Class Teacher to provide maternity cover from October half term through to the end of the academic year.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team of professionals and deliver engaging, high-quality teaching to pupils during a crucial stage of their educational development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess lessons across the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
- Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
- Support pupils' academic, personal, and social development.
- Track attainment and identify areas for further support.
- Work collaboratively with school staff and leadership teams.
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and achievement.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Previous experience teaching in a primary school environment.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
- Strong organisational and classroom management skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate pupils.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
