Are you working towards a PGCE or have currently finished one?

Worked with children with challenging behaviour?

Available 4-5 days a week?

As long as you match the criteria we will put you on our Guaranteed Work Scheme (GWS)

If you have had previous experience working with children in an education background or other, for example some sort of coaching role you will be very suited to the role.

Teaching Personnel work with schools throughout Newport and Cardiff where this role would apply. You would take control of full classes when the teacher is absent. There will be times where the work is set and others where you would have to use your own initiative. This role can be very challenging but equally rewarding

What you need:

Your own transport

Have strong communication skills and confidence

Good behaviour management

Previous experience of working with children

Enhanced DBS - assistance provided

Be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) - full assistance provided

Teaching Personnel offer training courses to help guide you through your role as a Cover Supervisor. What we have found is that if you are good the same school will take you back.
