Supply teacher - Manchester

Supply teacher – Manchester

Teaching Personnel work on behalf of an inner city secondary school in Manchester. The Manchester school have expressed a need for day to day supply teacher. The position is available full time and part time dependant on the successful candidate.

The Secondary school is located just outside the city centre easily accessible via public transport. The school is situated in a multi cultural, vibrant and diverse area. The Manchester school is smaller than the average school with just over 900 students on roll at the school and 25.9% of the students being English as an additional language pupils the successful teacher will hugely benefit from EAL experience. The school has 74% of their students on free school meals which is double the national average. The Manchester school is committed to progression of their students and their team.

The successful the teacher needs to be flexible and adaptable due to the nature of the role being needed in the absence of a teacher. The successful teacher will hugely benefit from experience with challenging behaviour in a school with a similar setting. The successful teacher will be working with a supportive faculty and in a newly developed school. The role is a great opportunity for any newly qualified and experienced teacher to gain an introduction into a school and into a trust as the school belongs to a trust of schools within the East of Manchester.
