Teaching Personnel are working with a school based in Southampton. The school are in need of a graduate teaching assistant who is able to start immediately.

They are ideally looking for candidates that want to embark up to an outstanding career in education working as a teaching assistant prior to potentially becoming a Teacher. This is a huge school that have a very successful and supportive team. The students are well behaved and a percentage of students have learning difficulties so require 1:1 support and on occasions you will be taking small intervention groups which will be focusing mainly on Maths and English.

The school is very popular in the borough and the pupils are well behaved and want to learn. The head teacher is looking for someone who has recently graduated, has self-motivation and able to show initiative. This is a great chance for a graduate who is looking to begin a PGCE as this will help you gain some invaluable classroom experience.
