Teaching Personnel are currently assisting several Schools in the Torquay area with day to day supply cover.

Secondary Schools and Academies in Torquay are in need of strong qualified Teachers and Instructors who are available to come in and teach lessons at the School for pre planned absences and last minute sickness. This will involve going into School, delivering pre planned work supplied by the School and ensuring that learning takes place whilst managing behavior of the students.

Successful candidates will need to have a PGCE or equivalent, with relevant experience and confidence of Teaching in Secondary Schools in the UK. You will need to be flexible and versatile as thinking on your feet will be required occasionally, and a strong classroom management style is essential.

Supply Teaching is a GREAT option for teachers who are looking for a work life balance, and enjoy the variation of working in and having an impact on different sets of students each day. If a long term role is what you would like in the future, supply teaching can often lead to this.
