General Cover Teacher | Shropshire | ASAP Start | Full Time / Part-Time
£31,650 - £49,084 per annum
SupplyBank is urgently recruiting General Cover Teachers for a range of day-to-day, short-term, and long-term opportunities across secondary schools in Shropshire.
We work with a network of supportive and well-regarded schools that are looking for confident and adaptable teachers to provide cover across a variety of subjects. Whether you are seeking flexible day-to-day teaching or a longer-term placement, we can offer consistent opportunities in schools where teachers are respected, supported, and valued.
The role:
• Full-time and part-time General Cover Teacher opportunities across secondary schools in Shropshire
• ASAP starts available
• Delivering pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects
• Maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively and ensuring students remain engaged
• Supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Adapting confidently to different school settings and classroom environments
We are looking for someone who:
• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Has strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Is flexible, professional, and adaptable
• Is available immediately or at short notice
• Has a genuine passion for teaching and supporting young people
• Can build positive relationships with students and staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
