General Cover Teacher – Flexible Opportunities Across Local Secondary Schools
Looking for flexible teaching work without the pressure of a full-time role?
We are currently recruiting General Cover Teachers for a range of day-to-day, short-term, and long-term opportunities across Macclesfield, Congleton, Shropshire, Telford, and Bridgnorth.
We work with a wide network of supportive secondary schools in these areas who regularly require confident and reliable teachers to provide general cover across a variety of subjects.
Whether you’re looking for a few days a week or something more consistent, there are opportunities to suit your availability.
What the role involves:
• Delivering pre-set lessons across different subjects
• Managing classroom behaviour and keeping students engaged
• Stepping into different school environments with confidence
• Flexible work ranging from daily supply to longer-term roles
We’re looking for:
• Qualified Teachers (QTS or equivalent)
• Strong classroom management skills
• Flexibility and a positive approach to different school settings
• Availability for immediate or short-notice work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
