General Cover Supervisor

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a general Cover Supervisor to start immediately. This is a great opportunity for someone who is considering a career in teaching but wanting to gain further experience within a mainstream classroom.

The role:

• Start-date: immediate upon registering with Teaching Personnel
• Opportunity to work flexibly
• Working with a number of schools across the Stoke-on-Trent/Newcastle-under-Lyme area
• Opportunity to earn £95-£110 per day (dependent on experience)

As a Cover Supervisor, you will work across a number of different mainstream secondary schools, covering the absence of class teachers. This could mean that you’re working with ages 11-16 across a range of different subjects. There is no need for any specific subject knowledge or teaching experience as all work and resources are pre-prepared. You will ensure all behaviour policies are followed and all work is completed.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both students and staff
• Good organisational skills
• Ability to be adaptable, changing your approach across ages and subjects

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
