A full-time Cover supervisor required for a ‘Good’ mixed community comprehensive school based in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames dedicated to serving their locality. A top achieving school where the young people are challenged to succeed and are well taught and cared for by a dedicated team of professionals.

A large comprehensive school with circa 1350 students, including the sixth form department. The school focuses on ways to instil their new shared values in all of their work:

THE ROLE: You will be responsible for supervision of classes to cover absent teachers, providing continuity of student learning and promoting positive values, attitudes and good student behaviour to confident and ambitious students. Expected to start after the Easter break for a month, with an option to then join on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for an experienced TA/graduate or a teacher who looks to build on their experience and gain exposure in the West London area

REQUIREMENTS:

Good standard of literacy and numeracy

Good working knowledge of ICT

Experience of having worked with students in the 11-16 age range

Experience of working in a school environment

A high level of organisational skills

A can do/proactive attitude
