Are you a dedicated and academically strong Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference?
We’re recruiting on behalf of an inclusive and supportive SEMH school seeking a confident TA to work closely with a Year 11 class as they prepare for their GCSE exams.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

• Provide targeted academic support across core GCSE subjects.
• Work 1:1 and in small groups with students who may require additional emotional or behavioural support.
• Collaborate with teachers and pastoral staff to ensure students stay on track and feel supported.
• Help create a positive, consistent classroom environment that promotes progress and confidence.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong academic background, ideally with A‑Levels or a degree.
• Confident supporting GCSE-level work across English, Maths or Science.
• Experience in an SEMH or specialist setting is preferred, but not essential for the right candidate.
• A calm, resilient, and patient approach with a genuine passion for helping young people succeed.
• Ability to build positive relationships and model strong behaviour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
