Job Title: Maths Teacher – GCSE

Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Maths Teacher to join our committed team from September 2025. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality GCSE Maths lessons to students.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons that challenge and support students at all levels.

Prepare pupils for GCSE examinations, ensuring high standards of attainment and progress.
-
Assess, track, and report on student progress effectively.
-
Contribute to the ongoing development of the Maths curriculum.

Maintain high standards of classroom management and student behaviour.
-
Work collaboratively with colleagues within a supportive department.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Mathematics or a related field.

Experience teaching Maths at secondary level, including to GCSE standard.

Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Maths education.
-
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
-
A commitment to continuous professional development and school improvement.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
