SEMH Teaching Assistant

A specialist school for Children with Social Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs, graded good by Ofsted, are currently looking for experienced SEMH teaching assistants to join them ASAP until the end of the Academic Year.

This school caters to children in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 – with around 5 students in each class.

As a teaching assistant, you will provide learning and behavioural support whilst working alongside teachers, therapists, and parents to help our children excel in their development. You will need to be resilient in working with children with SEMH needs and be passionate about helping our children achieve their full potential.

Position:

Hours of work: Full Time (Mon-Fri), 08:30am – 16:00pm

Location: Brent, London

Salary: £70 - £90 per day

Requirements:

Must have previous experience working within a SEN provision

SEMH experience (desirable)

Full time availability

Right to work in the UK

Child only DBS on the Update Service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
