If this sounds like your current situation, Teaching Personnel have the perfect opportunity for you through our Future Teacher programme!

Our Future Teacher Programme is a scheme designed to tackle the current teacher shortages across England and Wales, but more so was created to provide graduates with an opportunity to gain a variety of experience as a teaching assistant prior to beginning your teacher training programme. This programme will initially involve working as a teaching assistant on a 12 month basis, whereby upon successful completion you will have the opportunity to begin your initial teacher training within a lead teacher training school based in Kent/East Sussex.

Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit graduates or upcoming graduates of English, Science, Maths and Humanities to join our Future Teachers Programme at one of our fantastic training secondary schools in the Robertsbridge area.

Highlights of the Future Teachers Programme:

  • Graduates of English, Science, Maths and Humanities wanted for our Future Teachers Programme - Starting September 2019
  • Become a full-time Graduate Teaching Assistant for 12 months in a local secondary school
  • Opportunity to progress on to your teaching training, starting September 2020, after successfully completing your 12 months as a Graduate Teaching Assistant!
  • Earn up to £1400 per month in your first year as a Graduate Teaching Assistant
  • Fantastic and supportive route in to secondary teaching!
  • Applicants must be due to complete their degree this summer or hold a degree in one of the above subjects and be available from September 2019
