Further Education Support Mentor

Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a group of Further Education Colleges in Exmouth. We are looking to support them with additional staffing. 

We have bases throughout Devon and we are looking to recruit a number of new staffing options for thier needs. 

The role is working with a pupil aged 16-19 to help them access thier studies, you will be supporting pupils with SEN needs, ASC, MLD and sometimes behavioural. Its a rewarding role and based in term time only, you will also benefit from weekly pay. We currently have roles available at all of thier sites; 




If you are looking for additional and flexible work opportunities and you have experience supporting students to access education, we want to hear from you. If you can send through a copy of your updated CV we will be in touch. We will also coach you through the registration process in order to complete a Child and Adult Workforce DBS, and add this to the update service if you do not already have a current certificate. 

We also have work in local Secondary and Primary Schools in the same areas if you are seeking work on a full time or part time basis. We can offer training and diplomas through Teaching Personnel to upskill yourself for a career in Teaching or Education. You will also have access to the Future Teacher Programme if you are an aspiring teacher.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
