Job description

Are you a primary school qualified teacher in the Wolverhampton area? Are you passionate about providing quality primary education? Are you looking for a flexible and/or regular role that allows you to demonstrate your outstanding teaching skills?

Teaching Personnel is looking for a teacher to work in Year 5 at a school in Wolverhampton. For this role you will require prior teaching experience within a primary school and be able to provide two references from the past two years to demonstrate a strong ability. All applicants must hold, or make application for a child workforce DBS- registered on the update service. As a full-time teacher you must be able to complete all essential tasks such as, administration task, providing feedback and marking where necessary. You must comply to the school’s policies and procedures.

There are competitive rates of pay for the successful candidate, with a minimum starting salary of £150 per day. These roles would suit a candidate with strong classroom management skills, who is able to effectively plan and deliver the desired curriculum to the highest possible standard.

Roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Plan and deliver effective and engaging lessons in all Primary Subjects.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment for students.
  • Monitor and track students' progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Deliver the outlined curriculum effectively and engagingly.

Qualifications and skills:

  • A keen passion for education and learning.
  • Be a qualified teacher and previous experience in a primary role.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the needs of individual students.
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Commitment to professional development and long-term growth
  • DBS on the update service – child work force only or be willing to apply.
  • Qualified teaching status.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
