Job description

Location: Huddersfield, West Yorkshire

Salary: MPS / UPS Scale

Working hours: Full-time (Mon-Fri, 8:15am-15:15pm)

Start date: 15th April 2024

About the role:

We are recruiting an exceptional team of staff to support the growth of a genuinely transformational school. The successful candidate will join a very strong art department and will work collaboratively to shape art/D&T provision at the school, embed the school vision and develop an outstanding school that empowers our students to take responsibility and drive their own destiny’s.The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow with the school. They will be supported in their development and preparation for future roles. Teaching experience will not be a determining factor – we welcome applications from NQTs as well as more experienced candidates. We will develop every staff member that joins our team, providing one-to-one support, coaching and mentoring and access to extensive network training.

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
  • Must hold a QTS or working towards one
  • Have an overseas criminal clearance or willing to apply for one
  • Have a child enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
  • Minimum of three months UK residency
  • We do not accept those on skilled worker visas
  • Please ensure you have references available upon request covering the last 24 months of employment
