This lovely one form entry primary school based in the heart of Crawley are looking to employ a full time Y4 teacher for a whole academic year starting in September. The school is under excellent leadership. After speaking with the Headteacher in depth about the role he has great plans for the school moving forward and it sounds like and exciting and vibrant place to work.
The class you will be taking over is of mixed ability and is made up of 31 pupils. There is no behavioural issues within the class. The school has just been kitted out with brand new interactive white boards. You will have support from a TA that has been at the school for the past 2 years. There are 3 children that need extra EAL support but this is all covered within the school and the children do have 1:1 support sporadically throughout the day. The school is located near Crawley's main train station. It is a 15 minute walk to the school from the train station. The school are willing to pay between £100 - £180 per day. The school also welcomes NQT's to apply for this position too.
The Headteacher is looking to interview on the 6th June. The interview process will consist of a 20 minute lesson observation not strictly timed. Then it will be an interview with the Headteacher.
