Are you an enthusiastic and committed teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a full-time classroom teacher to join a welcoming and forward-thinking school in Burnley, Lancashire. The successful candidate will teach within EYFS, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2, depending on experience and suitability. You’ll deliver engaging lessons, foster a positive learning atmosphere, and help every child achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge pupils.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students, including those with SEND.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum across EYFS – KS2.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to pupil development.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

Desirable

  • Experience teaching in EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
  • Knowledge of SEND strategies and inclusive teaching approaches.
  • Ability to use creative and innovative teaching methods.

Salary: M1 – M6 (in line with AWR after qualifying period)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
