Are you a passionate and adaptable teacher looking for a varied and rewarding role? We are seeking a committed Primary PPA (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) Teacher to join our friendly and forward-thinking school.
This is a fantastic opportunity to teach across different year groups, delivering high-quality lessons while supporting colleagues with their planning and preparation time.
Primary PPA Teacher – Inspire Across the Curriculum!
Location: Burnley
Contract Type: Full-time
 Salary: £120 - £140 per day 
 Start Date: Monday 5th January 2026
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2.
- Maintain continuity of learning and high standards in the absence of the class teacher.
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different age groups and abilities.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure consistency and progression across the curriculum.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including events and enrichment activities.
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Is a qualified teacher (QTS) with experience across primary phases.
- Has excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Is flexible, organised, and confident teaching a range of subjects.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Brings creativity, enthusiasm, and a love of learning to every lesson.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
