Full Time SEN Teaching Assistant's required

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? Do you have the patience, dedication, and enthusiasm to support young learners in reaching their full potential?

Location: Preston schools, PR1, PR2 and PR5. 
Contract: Full-time on an agency basis, temp to perm possibility. 
Start Date: ASAP.

Teaching Personnel are working closesly with primary and secondary SEN School's in Preston who are looking for TA's to join them on a full-time basis. The school's are nurturing and inclusive SEN school's that are dedicated to providing outstanding education and support for children with diverse learning needs. The school's we work with pride themselves on their warm, welcoming environment and our commitment to helping every child thrive.

Compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistants we want you! You will work closely with teachers and therapists to provide tailored support for children with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and complex learning needs.

Key Responsibilites: 

Supporting pupils with their learning, development, and emotional well-being
Assisting teachers in creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment
Providing one-to-one and small group support
Encouraging independence and confidence in pupils
Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals

What are we looking for?:

Experience working with children or adults with SEN or SEMH needs (desired but not essential)
A patient, caring, and positive attitude
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of the children
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
