Job Title: Full-Time Primary Teacher
Location: Various primary schools across Cambridgeshire
Company: Teaching Personnel – Cambridge Branch
Contract Type: Full-Time | Term-Time Only

Are you a passionate and experienced Primary Teacher looking for your next teaching opportunity? Teaching Personnel Cambridge is seeking skilled and dedicated educators with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a minimum of 2 years’ experience working within UK primary schools.

We partner with a wide range of primary schools across Cambridgeshire, offering full-time roles across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2. We’re looking for enthusiastic teachers who can create engaging lessons, inspire young learners, and help every child reach their full potential.

Access to your own vehicle is highly desirable due to the range of school locations, but it’s not essential. As roles are based across Cambridgeshire, a willingness to travel and commute is necessary.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and engaging lessons across the primary curriculum

  • Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of pupils at varying levels, including those with SEN

  • Assess and track pupil progress, providing feedback to both students and parents

  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and other staff to support children’s development

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including parent evenings, staff meetings, and extracurricular activities

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)essential

  • Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience within UK primary schools – essential

  • Thorough knowledge of the primary curriculum and assessment frameworks

  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN and adapting teaching accordingly

  • Excellent classroom management, organisational, and communication skills

  • Willingness to travel to various primary schools across Cambridgeshire

  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the update service, or willingness to apply
