Full-Time Primary School Supply Teacher

Location: Primary schools across Cambridge City
Contract Type: Full-time (supply and long-term opportunities)
Start Date: Autumn Term 2 onwards
Salary: £160 – £190 per day (dependent on experience), up to £230 per day for Long-term bookings (paid to scale)


About the Role

Teaching Personnel is looking for dedicated, adaptable, and enthusiastic Primary Teachers to join our trusted team of supply staff supporting schools across Cambridge City.

We work closely with a variety of welcoming local primary schools — from small community settings to larger academies — offering both short-term supply and long-term placements. Whether you’re looking to gain more classroom experience, achieve a better work–life balance, or transition back into teaching, we can help you find the perfect fit.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2

  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Maintaining excellent behaviour management

  • Ensuring continuity of learning during staff absences


Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Proven UK school-based experience within a primary setting
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
A flexible, professional, and positive approach
An enhanced DBS check (or be willing to apply for one through Teaching Personnel)
