Job Description

Job Duties:

As a Full-time Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting teachers in delivering educational programmes, assisting with classroom management, and providing one-on-one support to students. Your duties will include preparing materials, supervising activities, and helping to create a positive learning environment for primary school children.

Expectations:

- A relevant qualification in Education or Teaching Assistance

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a team

- Good organisational skills and attention to detail

- Experience supporting children in KS1 or KS2

Education:

A minimum of GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Mathematics

Experience:

Prior experience working in a school setting or with children is desirable but not essential

Knowledge and Skills:

- Understanding of child development and learning processes

- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required

- Understanding of National Curriculum

Preferred Qualifications:

- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
