Exciting Opportunity for University Students (Sandwich year placements - PAID) – September start

Gain hands-on experience working with children with diverse needs. Join our team as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant!

Role and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with classroom teachers to support the learning and developments of students with additional needs
• Provide 121 and small group assistance to students
• Assistant in the implementation of Education Healthcare plans (EHCPs) – Enabling personalised support for children with complex needs
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, where all students feel safe, respected and valued
• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in SEN education.

Requirements:

• We are seeking individuals who are currently perusing, or have completed a university level degree
• Available for a full-time position from September

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
