French teaching vacancy in Preston from January 2018

  • Full-time for 2 terms, initially
  • Potential to secure a permanent contract if the initial placement is successful
  • KS3/4 French post

?Are you seeking a full-time role from January?

?Are you available for a long term teaching opportunity (2 terms with the likelihood to go permanent)?

If so, I am working on behalf of a secondary school in Preston who are seeking a Teacher of French from January, due to a gap within the department. This is a full-time teaching opportunity from January and the successful candidate will be required for 2 terms, initially, with the potential of securing a permanent contract if the initial placement is successful.

This is an all boys school located on the outskirts of central Preston with easily accessible transport links and on site parking facilities. Someone with good classroom management skills is required due to it being an all boys school, some of them can be quite silly and cause low level disruption in the classroom. Although they are not overly challenging students, they school do need someone who is able to manage any behaviour issues comfortably.

The incoming candidate MUST have the following:

* Valid UK PGCE/ teaching qualification in languages 

* Recent experience of teaching KS3/4 French up to GCSE level

* The ability to plan and deliver high quality French lessons

* The commitment to a long term teaching opportunity
