Large Academy School in Tameside require an MFL teacher to start after Easter for the summer term. This MFL teaching post will initially be on a long term supply basis to the end of the academic year with the potential to become permanent in September.
Situated in the OL6 Post code of Tameside the school has state of the art facilities in this modern new build. With over 1300 students on roll the school has a large percentage of students who use English as an additional language due to the demographics of the area. There is also a high percentage of students eligible for free school meals at 48%.
This MFL post consists of teaching French and Science to KS3 and GCSE ideally. You will be working within a large and settled MFL department that is lead by an experienced Head of MFL. The school are expecting the successful MFL teacher to take on full teaching responsibilities of planning, marking and regular student assessment.
The school have planned to see candidates after the Easter break for interviews and trial so you will need to be available to attend these. The school do not have a preference of NQT’s or experienced Modern Foreign Language teachers as they are simply looking for the best candidate who can prepare their students as well as possible for the upcoming exams.
